ABOUT

Established in 1991 after the inauguration of Nanyang Technological University on 1 July 1991, NTU NPCC was set up to train adult officers to lead secondary school cadets and aid in the corps' operations.

Undergraduates from NTU and National Institute of Education (NIE) are welcomed to join NTU NPCC at the start of each academic year under the uniform or non-uniformed scheme.

In NTU NPCC, members from the uniformed and non-uniformed scheme would be able to join many activities which include internal club training and cohesion sessions, and also developmental programmes such as First Aid and Forensics to add value to their respective units.

Being part of the NTU community, NTU NPCC also provides our members the opportunity to contribute to the safety of our campus through crime prevention programmes such as the Student Safety Ambassador (SSA) which is a joint collaboration with Nanyang Neighborhood Police Centre (NPC) to patrol around residential halls in NTU to raise safety awareness for the hall residents.
